Who are we?

180 Degrees Consulting Leuven started its first operational year in September of 2019, finally bringing the most established student consultancy worldwide to the largest university in Belgium. During the past three years, the consultancy teams at 180DC Leuven successfully completed more than 25 projects for social enterprises. We can attribute these successes to the extensive professional and personal development opportunities, through training from top-tier consulting companies, which our consultants leverage to reach their full potential.

Past Projects

Year: 2020

Toolbox vzw is a Belgian non-profit organisation of pro bono experts, coaching nonprofits and social organizations to improve their management and maximise their social impact. In 2020 alone, they counted 170+ experts coaching 80+ organisations.

The mission is to conduct a market analysis and develop an effective brand awareness strategy.

Year: 2021

WWF Belgium is the Belgian branch of an international organization working on nature conservation and protecting the climate. They raise awareness on these issues but also influence public policy and conduct research. In order to manage numerous projects at the same time and maintain an overview, they need an appropriate monitoring system.

The project is to come up with concrete, hands-on proposals for an appropriate tool for the national programs.

De Kapstok

Year: 2022

De Kapstok Leuven is a local second hand shop selling used clothes at discounted prices to individuals in need of new clothes. They also sell the clothes to any other customers willing to buy used clothes to support the circular economy and to financially support the CAW (General Center for Charitable work) of Leuven.

The project was to optimize the workings of the shop to allow for a broader and better social impact.

Testimonials of Our Alumni

180DC will enable you to gain more insight in the world of consultancy while getting valuable hands-on experience “

Jari Ingang

Business Analyst at Kearney

During the last 2 years 180 Degrees Consulting has been a catalyst in my student life in 3 main ways. Firstly, thanks to roles as consulting director and president, I improved both my hard skills and soft skills while creating social impact. Secondly, I got to meet like-minded students, some of which have become my closest friends. And thirdly, it proved to be a gateway to my first job at Kearney.

Lise Ceulemans

Associate Consultant

180 Degrees Consulting to me were my first steps into the world of consultancy. To test the waters and see whether I could one day become a consultant, and enjoy it too. Two years later, I landed my first strategic management consultancy job. The people I’ve met along the way, both 180DC members and partners, made the journey unforgettable. I will always be truly grateful for my 180DC family.

Annelore Louis

Business Analyst at BrightWolves

Two years ago, when to 180DC branch was established, I had no doubts in joining the organisation. This primarily because of its strong focus on the creation of social impact and its eagerness to provide students a large number of learning opportunities. In the end, 180DC Leuven enabled me to develop on both a professional and personal level, gave me the chance to make friends for life and helped me in receiving my first job offers.
